Math that's fun when it can be, rigorous when it needs to be.
Engineer-led tutoring in small groups or one-on-one. Playful, game-based math for the youngest learners, real rigor for older students, plus high-cap enrichment and SAT prep.
At a glance
Every family starts with a free 30-minute meet and greet, so you can see if I'm a good fit before committing to anything.
The right approach for each age
A first grader and a high school junior need very different things from a math tutor. I match the style to the student.
Fun Math
Puzzles, board games and hands-on challenges that build number sense and make kids want to keep going. Confidence first, fluency follows.
Try our free math games →Rigorous Math
Pre-algebra through calculus, taught with real rigor: clear reasoning, careful practice, and no skipped steps. Support for current coursework or getting ahead of it.
High-Cap Tutoring
Enrichment for kids who are ready to go further: logic puzzles, problem solving and topics beyond the classroom, at a pace that keeps them challenged.
SAT Math Prep
Targeted prep for the SAT (and ACT) math sections: the content that shows up, the traps that cost points, and timed practice that builds stamina.
Catch-Up & Confidence
Patient, judgment-free help for kids who are struggling. I find the gap, fix it, and rebuild the confidence that gaps take away.
Small Group or 1-on-1
One-on-one for focused attention, or a small group when kids learn better with peers. Either way, sessions come with custom lesson sheets and practice problems.
A real engineer, not just a tutor
Math is easier to teach well when you've used it for a living. My tutoring is built on knowing why the math matters and how to make it click.
I'm an engineer with a Ph.D., an M.S. and a B.S. in engineering and a background as a big-tech software engineer. That means students get explanations grounded in how math is really used, not just a list of procedures to memorize.
I also write my own teaching materials: lesson sheets, study guides, practice worksheets and original math games, so every session is tailored to the student in front of me rather than pulled off a shelf.
